SDC Event 7

Very exiting matches today.

Roland Lenngren wins his first ever event in the SDC Tour by playing brillian through out the day. He defeated both Madars Razma and Dennis Nilsson on his route to the final. Roland didn’t show any signs of worry and seemed very confident with his play – even after Per Laursen won the first two legs – one with a 161 checkout for a 12 darter – he kept his calm and just kept hitting big numbers and eventually won the match in the 10th leg.

Three players have a very good chance to qualify for the World Championship. By reaching the final today Per Laursen moves into the second place on the SDC Order of Merit. With only 100 points to third place Daniel Larson needs finisish at least one match better than Per Laursen and at the 4th place Magnus Caris at least needs to reach the final – and maybe even take the victory. Tomorrow will be very exiting to follow.
